Support Veterans
There are a lot of amazing people doing great things for veterans. Whether donating money, time, or helping veterans get connected to the right organization that can address their needs, you too can support these great Americans. Here are a few that support veterans through fishing activities:
Heroes On The Water
Heroes On the Water helps warriors relax, rehabilitate and reintegrate through kayak fishing and the outdoors.
Take a Vet Fishing
Take a Vet Fishing’s provides emotional support and rehabilitation to those who serve our great nation every day. The mission is simple, to show these men and women how much they mean to us and support them and their families with (emotional) PTS (Post Traumatic Stress) outings and trips.
Freedom Fighters Outdoors
Freedom Fighters Outdoor’s mission is to assist our nations injured veterans in their transition from the armed services to civilian life by showing our gratitude through organized outdoor activities.
Got Your 6 Fishing
Got Your 6 Fishing helps active duty military and veterans find physical and emotional healing through recreation and provides opportunities for them to share their stories.
Additionally, they offer custom rod building classes to active duty military and veterans.
Vets Fishing With Vets
The Vets Fishing with Vets Tournament was created by an experienced and motivated group of volunteers wanting to give back and honor ALL United States Veterans; young and old. This tournament is an excellent opportunity to show our support to all our troops. The Spirit Of Aransas Pass Proudly Announces ‘Vets Fishing With Vets’ – A Star-Spangled Celebration Of Food, Fun, Fishing And Fund-Raising Honoring U.S. Veterans.
Project Healing Waters

Here are a few more that we support:
Veteran's Airlift Command
The VAC provides free air transportation to post 9/11 combat wounded and their families for medical and other compassionate purposes through a national network of volunteer aircraft owners and pilots.
If you’re a pilot, you should volunteer at least one flight. It will be more memorable and appreciated than any $100 burger trip. Trust us on this one.
Operation K9
Operation K9 matches and trains service dogs for veterans. Now they serve a region consisting of: Texas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, New Mexico, Colorado, Arkansas and Kansas. Training service dogs to the specific needs of each veteran takes time and money. Let’s help them expand their services to veterans around the country!
